You must already be attending BEA to participate. The tea will take place on Thursday, May 27, 2010 at a time to be determined at the gorgeous Alice’s Tea Cup.

To enter to win, bloggers need to review/feature/blog about Very Valentine, the new paperback from Adriana Trigiani and Brava, Valentine, the new hardcover from Adriana Trigiani, between January 1, 2010 and March 31st, 2010 April 30, 2010, as well as post in your sidebar the I Heart Adriana Trigiani badge for that same time period.

A copy of Very Valentine and Brava, Valentine will be provided to bloggers who wish to review the books in order to participate in this contest.

  • talk about the sneak peek to Brava, Valentine that’s inside
  • post the Book Club Girl On Air Show with Adriana Trigiani about Very Valentine. Alternatively, you can participate in the Book Club Girl On Air Show and then blog about it!

BravaValentineInformation that you can include in your posts about Very Valentine and Brava Valentine includes:

  1. Provide your readers with the links to browse inside to each of the books (Here’s the link to Very Valentine. The link to Brava, Valentine, will be up shortly.)
  2. Embed Adriana’s Walking Tour of Greenwich Village Video
  3. Provide Adriana’s Tour Schedule for the paperback and the hardcover

These rules can also be found at the HarperCollins website.

About Very Valentine

Poignant, funny, warm, and red hot, Very Valentine is a wonderful treat for Adriana Trigiani fans—a “delightful” (Boston Globe), “romance-soaked novel” (Marie Claire) from much adored playwright, screenwriter, documentary filmmaker, and New York Times bestselling author of Lucia, Lucia; Rococo; and Big Stone Gap. The adventures of an extraordinary and unforgettable woman as she attempts to rescue her family’s struggling shoe business and find love at the same time, Very Valentine sweeps the reader from the streets of Manhattan to the picturesque hills of la bella Italia. Already a national bestseller and soon to be a Lifetime movie, here is a valentine from the incomparable Trigiani that you can take into your heart.

About Brava, Valentine

Award-winning playwright, television writer, and documentary filmmaker Adriana Trigiani returns with Brava, Valentine, continuing the heartwarming and hilarious story of Valentine Roncalli, her family, her love life, and the Angelini Shoe Company. Following on the heels of the New York Times bestseller Very Valentine (hailed by People magazine as “Sex and the City meets Moonstruck”), Brava, Valentine is another tour-de-force from the beloved author of bestselling novels Lucia, Lucia,  The Queen of the Big Time, and the Big Stone Gap series.

Aw, I love Adriana Trigiani. She and I are alums of the same small women’s college. I met her briefly while working at a reunion one summer but was too star struck to tell her how much I love her work!

I would LOVE to have tea with Adriana T! I have read all her “Big Stone Gap” books and I just finished “Queen of the Big Time” which I loved as much as her Big Stone Gap characters. Her prose is so rich and distinctive, and her characters are unforgettable.
I look forward to reading her Valentine series, once I can get my hands on a copy.

I would Love a copy! We just moved into a smaller place and I sadly had to part with so many books. However my poor husband almost lost his left arm when I saw him packing my Trigiani books in the “to donate” box!

I’d love to participate and share copies with friends (won’t be able to do “tea” though). Is it possible to still get a copy or copies?
I’ve read several of her books and have thoroughly enjoyed them.

I LOVE Adriana! — and just heard her at our St. Louis County Library Library where she was on book tour. It was fun, fabulous, and fantastic!

I would love to have the books to review!!!

    Is is too late?

  26. Andrea Lapsley says

I have read all Adriana’s books and eagerly await each one. I love telling my friends, library customers and book club members about her books. The characters she writes about are so real and true. I love them all. The Valentine series is really special and I eagerly await the third one. Anytime spent with Adriana is a real treat. Whether over tea, at a lecture or when she generously gives of her time to call into bookclubs. She’s the best!

Very Valentine and Brava Valentine are the first books I have read of Adrianna Trigiani’s.
They were highly entertaining, I laughed most of the way through both books. The relationship that Valentine has with her grandmother is endearing and heart warming. I love that sometimes the roles were reversed in their relationship. The characters in the stories were like some of your own family members. Whether you are Italian American or not this story about love, family, commitment to others is a welcome read for all cultures.

I saw Adriana at the Pittsburgh Joseph-Beth and would love to meet her as I had to leave before I could get my books signed. Could listen to her talkfor hours.

    This is for Adriana:
On page 6 of Brava, Dutch indicates that he and Mike were 21 and 22 at the time of their marriage. I do realize Mike is sensitive about her age. The ages are not adding up! How old is Mike? (I am in Mike’s age group and want more closely to identify!)

I met you in Richmond at the LINC luncheon with Big Stone Gap.

My comupter will not allow me to email you from your site. Thank you so much, Adrianna!
