Plus I love "children's" books-- the good ones stay with me forever. I can't believe I've missed this author. I named my daughter Betsy. My family and I went to the Betsy/Tacy convention in Deep Valley (Mancato) Minnesota. I encourage everyone who was a girl, has a girl, or just likes girls (not like that), to check the series out. I wish I lived somewhere where a tour was going.
