I’ve never read these books, but if for no other reason than that the author and I share the same name (and spelling), I have to read them. Plus I love “children’s” books– the good ones stay with me forever. I can’t believe I’ve missed this author.

I never heard of this series until their re-release-I am sure I would have loved them as a child.

I’m growing up in the Betsy-Tacy world. Literally. I’m writing this across the street from lincoln park. Mankato is a great town!

I’m looking forward to the reviews on this title. One summer during my high school years I lived very near Mankato, Minnesota, but I’ve never read the books.

I grew up with Betsy, I WAS Betsy, (Well, actually I was more of a Tacy, but I WANTED to be Betsy.) I named my daughter Betsy. My family and I went to the Betsy/Tacy convention in Deep Valley (Mancato) Minnesota. I encourage everyone who was a girl, has a girl, or just likes girls (not like that), to check the series out. I wish I lived somewhere where a tour was going.

I loved the Betsy-Tacy books when I was a kid, and read them all multiple times! But since I didn’t have daughters, I’ve never revisited them as an adult. It’s great to see them coming back, and I hope they find a new audience.
